Conference theme:

We plan to accept papers that cover all aspects of the quantitative (and comparative) economic history of Brazil.

Costs and funding:

There will be no conference fee. The organizers will provide lunch, coffee breaks, and a dinner.

Due to limited funding, we cannot cover travel and accommodation costs, unfortunately.

Deadlines:

May 26, 2025 – deadline to send us a proposal.

May 30, 2025 – we will communicate the accepted proposals (and possibly a waiting list).

June 6, 2025 – the program will be posted.

For applications, please email a complete paper or at least a paper proposal (3-4 pages) to both Guilherme Lambais and Nuno Palma. Complete papers are preferable if possible.
