Surviving A Very Unproductive Week

Hey everyone! I just had a very unproductive week. Mrs. RB40 went off to California to visit her parents for a month. This seemed to have kicked off a spiral of unproductivity for me. It was also a break for my ceramics class. The next quarter begins in October. I didn’t have to go to class and barely left the house. I didn’t even go to the gym because I was a little under the weather (and lazy). RB40Jr hurt his ankle and skipped Ultimate practices and Jiu-Jitsu class as well. It was a whole week of unproductivity. The only thing I accomplished was imprinting a Joe-shaped dent in the couch.

That’s me, except on a couch instead of a chair. The US is on fire. The current administration continues to attack free speech, immigrants, vaccines, science, education, clean energy, and anyone not conforming to their point of view. This is nuts, but that’s what the people voted for. We’re supposed to get cheaper groceries, but we didn’t even get that. Everything is more expensive than ever. I just paid $4.49/gallon for gasoline. Where is the $2 gas? The grifter who said things are cheaper has never gone grocery shopping or put gas in a car. Oh well. This is fine.

Next week, I’ll get off the couch and be more productive. At least, I kept us fed and did a load of laundry…
